What do you think this is?

Question:
I was out for a walk today and I was walking kind of fast (not to fast, kind of like when your late for work fast) and I noticed that when I take in a deep breath that it hurts. The pain is on my left side at the back and its just between were my rib cage ends and my hip bone. The pain continued after I got home and that was about an hour ago but its not as strong a pain as it was.

Answers:
I get the same thing and its not atall because i'm out of shape.
I went to my doctor because I was also concerned, he said that I need not to worry unless the pain gets very bad or it will not go away.
He also said it sometimes occurs when your body is put under unusual or alot of pressure/strain. Also if you are in a funny position it can happen. I wouldn't worry too much about it but see your doctor if your still concerned.
I still have it now, but I find that just sitting down with a drink and even breathing helps.
good luck
A muscle cramp, maybe. You're probably really out of shape.
It sounds like a muscle cramp near or around you diaphragm. The diaphragm is the muscle that controls the rate in which you breathe (basically). Runners often refer to this as 'getting a stich' because the pain is very sharp. If its still bothering you try some Advil and if it doesn't go away call your Dr.
