Question:
I have just entered a work force where we cannot smell like cigarettes OR purfume. I smoke cigarettes and have no intention on quitting just yet, a lot of people have told me, just quit. Well its not that easy, and I absolutely love it. If I am stressed, they help me calm down. Since I am in school and just entered a new job, I WILL be stressed. Anyway, my question is.. does anyone know of a SENTLESS spray or lotion, or any other thing that can get rid of the cigarette smell? If anyone knows anything please let me know! I have three chances to come in smelling like it, and the fourth time I smell like it, I will be fired, and this is a great job opportunity, and I would like to keep it. Kinda sounds selfish, but if anyone knows anything, please help me!! Thanks!

What kind of company can tell you what you can and can't smell like? Sounds like a major discrimination lawsuit to me. There are some "deodorizing" sprays out there but unfortunately for you the scent will probably get you fired. I would run run run if I were you. Smoke on!

Definitely crazy. I can see them requiring you not to smoke and having you tested, that's happening now. But to even smell like smoke? What if your spouse smoked? What if you rode the bus to work and at the busstop there was a smoker? I'd look into the legality of that little gem right there.
