actually, im a big baby when it comes to things like this, and beleive me, i didnt even feel them. after the nurse wiped my arm with the alcohol, i was siting there waiting for some sharp, afwul pain and then she was all like 'ok youre done.'
so its not really as bad as you think it is. trust me 100% on this one. and if anyone tells you that your arm is gonns hurt for like a week afterwards, theyre teasing you. it'll only be "stiff" if u dont move it around. and it doesnt even hurt like a "pinch" or a "sting", either. theres no pain at all!
dont look at it, though.
but again, it doesnt hurt. i promise. :-)

when you go in to get a shot, when they are gettin gready to stick you, take a really deep breath and let it out slowly. this helps little kids when i give them shots. especially the ones that like to fight me. good luck,
I just don't look towards the direction of the shot, and I occupy my mind with something else. Trush me, it works.
well any time i have to get shots i just never look when its being done.it works good for me
Heck yea they hurt girlfriend!! But not for long just for a sec!!
When i go to get shots I act like I'm a bad @$$ and nothun can hurt me when I'm at the doctor and it kinda psyches u out for a lil bit then it's all over B-4 u know it!

I know you hear it all the time, but shots really do feel like pinches. They last a couple of seconds, but once they are over, it'll be fine. My suggestion would be to look away and squeeze another persons's hand while you get the shot. Just let the pain come out from your squeeze! =P
Justin hit it on the head. I hate needles and shiver at the thought of having to get them so I relax, take slow breathes, look away and think of something else and before long, its over. Good luck.
