the best time to start using the patch is when u are commited to want to stop smoking... the best time is to start the day off fresh with one...so when u first wake up...say tomorrow morning..then put it on.
Start the day you want to die of something besides cancer.
Put it on, first thing in the morning. Throw away all your cigarettes tonight before going to bed. Remove any ashtrays from your house. Clean the air with fans and spray.
Keep an unopened pack of cigarettes (wrapped in foil and tied with a rubber band) on you at all times. Draw a skull on the package.
Every time you have a desire to smoke, take out that package and talk to it. Remember why you quit.
YOU are a non-smoker, now. Non-smokers can look at cigarettes and be repulsed. Non-smokers can live long enough to be a problem to their grandchildren.
DO NOT OPEN THE BOX!
It will take about 3 weeks to get to the point where you don't have to talk to the pack. Throw it in a drawer, when you are sure you won't need it again.(Haven't you given those murderers enough money?)
If you have a weak moment(or week) carry it around with you again.
