I went for a 3-mile walk 2 days in a row and now my legs are chaffed. Suggestions to make them better quicker.
Question:
On tuesday I went for a 3 mile walk with my sister with 2 pound weights and I worked them a little.
My legs started hurting on the way home, and then when I got home I found that a part of my inner thigh area was red and my mom said that it was chaffed.
I got a touch of the flu that night and my legs hurt the next day(wednesday) so I didn't go for a walk.
Today, (thursday) I felt better and my legs didn't hurt so bad so I went for a short walk around town and now my legs hurt really bad again.
They look worse than they were on tuesday. I have a long day tomorrow and I was wondering if there was anything to help with the chaffing to make it go away quicker.
P.S. when i was writing and said "my legs" i meant the part of them that is chaffed-inner thigh area.
thanks-help is appreciated.

I have the same problems with my inner thighs when I walk or run for long periods of time or several days in a row. I have found that for me putting vaseline or lotion on the site helps relieve the pain while at the same time allowing me to walk/run as I need to. Try some hydrocortisone cream. I tried powder and for me personally it didn't do anything. I guess it depends on your body, but this is a normal thing that just doesn't happen to everyone, in time it will heal on its own. As I have gotten older it has seemed to be better but it still flares up occassionally. Hope this helps!
i would just sit in bed and see if they healed any not keep walking maybe try some ice might make it worse but would help with pain i would also try heat NOT AFTER THE ICE THOUGH XD ok just try resting ice or heat which one works better
When you walk, wear shorts that cover the part that is chaffed and some powder will help them to feel better.
Simple, food quality, corn starch makes a great anti-chafing powder. Apply liberally (and it is way cheaper than talcum powder, and better) and it will reduce the friction considerably. Later on, when you lose weight, the problem will be a distant memory.
im a guy and my leg's often get chaffed in the same area as you, it seems like it happens when i run. i would like to know a solution and cause for this.
i hypothesize it's from sweat drying up on your legs and causing more friction then there was befor eyou started sweating.
