How do you get rid of this feeling?


Question:
I am soooo angry! I hate feeling like this! I feel sick to my stomach and I cant stop crying! I wanna hit something but I dont want to at the same time and I weant to get rid of the frustration thats eating away at me! I used to cut myself for relief but I thought I had gotten over that but tonight the urge is back. Help me please, what else can I do to get rid of this feeling?

Answers:
First take a deep cleansing breath.now another.now another. What makes you so frustrated. Can it be solved? If it can, breathe, clear your mind of the anger and plan what you can do to fix this. If it can't be solved, you will have to find in yourself a way to let it go. Really let it go, hurting yourself will not solve this. Being frustrated will not solve this. Only you can solve this, but you have to clear your mind of the anger first.
My true answer to this is take a few deep breaths and go for a run. Just like 5 mins very short but enough to vent ur frustrations.

Think positive thoughts, talk to someone about how you feel, keep busy, do exercise to release tension and to help your body relax and release the happy hormone.
Cutting myself never helped me, and now i have horrible scars up my arms and people notice them. Not worth it. Don“t listen to depressing music either. Do something new that you have never done before, like a new hobby. I hope you feel better.

Walk! Run! Get your body moving! Exercise really does decrease your stress level. Invest in a punching bag! I know it's hard but learn to take control of your raging emotions and remind yourself that no one is going to take better care of you than YOU, and your are definitely worth it. Please do not return to cutting yourself no matter how much pain you're experiencing because that will only make you feel worse about yourself and about life in general. Sweetie, please find a support group where others relate to your personal battle and can help you to overcome life's frustrations in a way that will not harm you or those who love you. I'm so sorry you're hurting like this and I pray you will quickly receive the assistance you so dearly need and deserve. God bless you.

Ok you've done the best first thing by telling us how you feel. If there is someone there you feel you can talk to you should do that as well.

If not then keep yourself occupied now by doing something that will take your mind off whatever is upsetting you. This can be anything like doing housework or washing Clothes!! If you do this then you should be able to calm yourself down..

Going forward, you do need to sort out whatever is making you feel this way - So talk to friends if you feel you can or your Doctor.

I would start by saying asking for help is a good start. Don't let your anger and emotions cause you to harm yourself. Please fight that urge to cut yourself with all your strength because that's just a temporary solution. If you haven't done so already create a solid support system of your friends family or professionals. Also try writing in journal and when you are in a better mood read it and try to resolve whatever issues you have. This process is not an immediate solution but will provide help if you are consistent and willing to help yourself. Also take a hot bath listening to your favorite music this has helped me over the years. Realize you are not alone and God never gives you more than you can handle. I'm going to keep you in my prayers.
please dont hurt yourself its not worth it, you can hav a good cry, but seriously either talk to friends family or your gp they will know what to do and will want to help you and be there for you. talking can help or get a cushion hit that or just let out a big scream that can get rid of alot please take care

i know how bad it is to want to cut ,
i'm a presently a SHer and I totally understand how tough it is .
why not go for a walk , have a shower , hit a cushion , i like to take my rabbits for a walk when i down ,angry, depressed ,etc i know it sounds so silly but it helps me ,
try drawing a butterfly on ur wrist or where ever u cut and try not to cut until it fades and if u cut u've killed it :-( when it fades just draw another on ,pref in permanant marker , it last longer , it sounds mad but thats helped me not SH for months , or just have a good cry , feel free to IM or PM me xx kate xx good luck stay strong youve done so well for getting this far and not cutting , even if u do its not the end of the world u can always try again youve done better than me ,

on a serious note, is it because some one broke your heart, may be your beast friend(pun intended)..betrayed you... i seriously hope that somebody wasnt bad to you.

this is life.. its always full of suprises thats why i truely believe in a saying " Life is a B.itch, if it bites you then bite it back, and leave teeth marks".

I am not suggesting you to bite the person who was bad to you (if thats the case). I am saying to fight and be strong and dont let anyone or anything come between you and your happiness. if some one has betrayed you or broken your heart, then screw them, they are not worth a penny;s thought.. you, your life and your body are more precious then those silly buggers.. cherish it. love it. and be kind to it.

surround your self with people who love you. share your feelings with your loved one. I am sure someone will be there for you.

excercise as some one has pointed out invest in a punching bag...and punch the hell out of the punching bag and when punching imagine that it is that person who was bad to you. this way you wont be hurting your self and also you will be loosing some serious calories.

if these dont work, then seriously honey... you should speak with some one ..if you are in college, uni then I am pretty sure that there are relevant people to guide you. your local walk in center (or surgery) can help you as well..

alternatively, as bigdaddy_x8 pointed out ... you can always masturbate.
Breath just breath. Write it down... It's your diary screaming out loud, it does feel better trust me..

Sounds like you need anxiety relief: zanex, Valium, clonazepam...Do you have trouble sleeping? If so, definitely yes, maybe just for a short time.good luck..
I find when i feel so angry, i go into the bedroom, close the door and knock 7 bells out of a cushion until i have got all the anger out. A much better way than hurting yourself and does make you feel better, shout and scream also. Warn anyone in the house that you are just going to go and take your anger out on a pillow and not to worry about any noises.
