When you are taking Suboxone to get off Vicodin's how long are you suppose to take them?

I have a friend who is now ADDICTED to the SUBOXONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... How and why did these happen?????????????????? IT"S AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suboxone is just another opioid. One needs to stay on suboxone indefinitely like methadone. The "experts" will disagree and claim one can get off suboxone after some treatment or counseling. But guess what - - regardless of what the doctors and greedy pharmaceutical companies say - - there is a very painful withdrawal !!!!! Not so much physical as emotional, mental, spiritual withdrawal. I KNOW. I came off the suboxone. It took about 2 months.
