What should I do to releive eye pain?

I get this problem too and for theexact same reason. My job and studies have me on this thing about twelve hours a day (ugh) I've had a week and a half off for illness and its nice to not have to be plugged in all the time. The break has made my eyes a lot less tired.. anyway, I realize you may not be able to just do this.. So here are some suggestions that work for me.
Do you use any kind of over the counter drops? Like Visine or Natural tears? These can relieve eye strain.
Give your eyes a break every five to fifteen minutes. Just close them for two or three minutes or at least rest them. They're becoming strained from the light and the work. If you don't want to lclose them, stare at something distant because you shouldn't look at something close like that only. Look in the distance. Sounds weird but it helps.
You can take things like tylenol to help with the pain but honestly, you really should rest them as often as you can because tylenol will only take away the pain, not improve the general health of your eyes.
Also any time you don't have to be on the computer, try not to use it a lot. This cuts down on your screen time too.
This sounds weird but can you wear sunglasses while on the computer? This cuts WAYYYY down on the amount of the light your eyes are receiving.
Good luck :)
take a tylenol or an aspirin. Cool water compresses every half hour or so. Give your eyes a break.
go back to your optmetrist, you probably have a range of sight. I need glasses for reading and my computer even though I can read fine without them. I get headaches if I dont use them too. Excedrin Migraine works great for me, even when I dont have migraines
best is that u go to a doctor, but before that try a long nap
This used ot happen to me when I wrote program code.
Yeah, take a break from looking at the screen every so often.
I used to have artificial tears, they are different from like visine or other eyedrops. They come in little vials, they work pretty well to help with the eye strain. I also blink alot when on the computer so that it renews the tears and lubrication throughout my eyes.
Also I heard of people doing eye exercises to help. Like putting your finger between your eyes, then stare at it while moving it away slowly. I dunno, I never did it.
Anyhow, thats all I can think of. Hope it helps, good luck!
Use homeopathic eye drops Eufracol twice a day.
Get your Eyes Checked, also see that you are viewing the computer from right distance and correct posture.
See a doctor and have the glasses fitted for computer work only.
First. Use natural tears of any kind, when a person is on the computer he or she may get dry eyes, tears crystallises and form small sharp particles that hurt the eyes (sting, other reason may be cosmic rays if you are at high altitude call local weather person and see if they are recording the cosmic ray activities in the area).
If the discomfort co-inside with the activity then "bingo"!, need safety glasses, just try them , with pinkish tint. Get an anti glare screen for the monitor with grounding wire. May need UV protection safety glasses cheap solution, can be had at $ store for a $1.00).
when u in front of computer, use progressive lens spects with ur long distance, it's combination which will 100% help full.
