I would say just be happy that he showers. I would prefer he showered in the evening after work, but at least he takes one every day.
Most boys and men, shower once a day, at most. Don't expect him to shower any more than that.
You're boyfriend should shower whenever he feels comfortable. Be glad he showers, and wash the sheets more often, if his going to bed a little dirty bothers you.
It depends on what he does for a living. If he gets all hot and sweaty during the day, he should shower in the evening. If he works in a temperature controlled environment showering in the morning is fine.
Invite him into a hot steamy shower with you.. Most guys NEVER turn this down. ;)

Whats wrong with showering in the morning? It wakes you up and gets you ready for the day. My boyfriend and I always shower in the morning. It all depends on how busy / hot we have got during the day to whether or not we just have a wash or a full shower again in the evening.
Relax - as others are saying - at least he showers once a day!! I have lived with someone who hardly washed at all during the weekend - now that was not nice, hense why he didnt last!!
