What causes muscle twitches, and how do I get it to stop?
Question:
Answers:
Magnesium might help.
It can be many things like a deficiency of potassium, dehydration, or from over tired muscles. You could try eating some high potassium foods (do not play around with potassium pills, an accidental overdose will stop your heart) like oranges, spinach, bananas, or try taking a multivitamin. You could also look into how much water you're drinking. Try to drink water whenever you get thirsty. Eight glasses a day is a good measurement of how much you need. You might also try some IcyHot or another product of that sort and massaging it into the muscle. If it goes on much longer, you may want to seek medical help. Good luck
This is definitely de ja vue! Was at the Dr. yesterday with same complaint. He told me that it was caused by one (or a combination) of the medications I am taking. I find that a HOT
tub of water and a gentle massage helps a lot. Good luck.
If this does not work and you are over 25 - go see a Dr.
