Answers:
My wife had her gall bladder removed and still had some intermittent pain. Several months later she was pregnant with our son and it came back and did not go away. It turned out that she still had a stone left over from her gall bladder that got into her liver. It would lodge in her duct and cause pain, then it would pop back up into her liver, release the pressure and the pain would leave. The Doctor that found it was able to get it with a scope, no surgery. They were able to do it with only 18 seconds of imaging instead of the usual 90 to 120 seconds. This was important because of the pregnancy. That's what happened to us, I hope yours is as simple.
Depends on how long ago. In a cholecystectomy tissue gets burnt off and stuff moves around, so the body doesn't like it and gets annoyed. Mild pain for a few days is usually OK, but if it seems to be getting worse, if it wakes you up at night, if you start getting nausea, vomiting, or if the pain starts to change and become sharper or interfering with your breathing, see a doctor quicksmart.
did you have the surgery recently? if so, the pain may be your body adjusting. maybe you should see a doc
Post operative pain...how long ago did you have the surgery?
See your doctor.
