What is this strange wierd feeling in the back of my neck or throat when I'm really hungry?

This is hard to explain, but sometimes when I'm really hungry I get this strange pulsing, grainy, draining, or vibrating in the back of my neck or throat. It kind of sounds like a rain stick.
