I just took a eight hour tylenol that expired December 2006. Is that bad?
Question:
Will I be okay or is this a concern?
Answers:
probably not, but if they smell like vinegar I would throw them out...even so, probably should get a new bottle.
It's not bad. Medicines like Tylenol or aspirin may lose their effectiveness after the due date has passed, but they won't turn bad like food does. You're ok.
You'll be fine. The expiration date will effect the potency, so you won't get the full effect, best plan, buy some new ones, and dispose of those safely, e.g., keep them away from kids & pets.
I really Wish...U wud be able to read this msg..he he he he Kiddding.Mat God Bless U n Don worry nothin will happen to u..but be carefull next time round.
It is a fact, not reading the label of a bottle of pills before you take them is always a dangerous matter. Although, I believe that every pill there is, that is made from 2000 or so 'til now is good two months after the date it expires. "Good" is defined as; it will not react to your organism or do any harm except anything pointed out on the label under the headings "warning" or "contraindications". I'm not 100% sure about the two months thing, it might be more, it might be less than two months... but what I am sure about is that you should read the labels from now on... and of course, I'm also sure that you are gonna be ok... :)
Your body will deal with the medication. It can also be dangerous if you were taking another kind of pills even if they weren't expired. You should never mix any medicine without asking a doctor first. But anyways, you will be ok.
You'll be fine.Expiration dates on medications are there to let you know that it may not be as effective. Tylenol is a medication that causes few, if any, side effects.
