fire ant The venom of a fire ant sting causes stinging and swells into a bump. They can be very irritating and painful at times, especially when stung repeatedly by several at once. The bump often forms into a white pustule, which is at risk of becoming infected. The pustules are unattractive and uncomfortable while active and, if the bite sites become infected, can turn into scars. Additionally, some people are sensitive to the venom and experience anaphylaxis, which requires emergency treatment.[2] An antihistamine or topical corticosteroids may help reduce the itching.
First aid for fire ant bites includes external treatments and oral medicines.
External treatments: a topical steroid cream (hydrocortisone), alcohol, household ammonia, bleach
Oral medicines: antihistamines
For patients who experience severe or life threatening reactions to fire ant insect stings, visit a doctor as soon as possible.
ok first of all dont panic put some ice on it to take the swolleness down and then if it still hurts go to the emergency room
go to the doctors. you might be allergic.
Hospital emergency, NOW!
Put it in icewater. Take benadryl or another diphenhydramine product (Unisom...) and drink LOTS of water.
If it continues to swell, or if you have any difficulty breathing, dial 911 or your local equivalent.
If it really seems bad you could call a docor or go to the hospital
call your doctor. He'll call you back.
Go to a DOCTOR.
get some baking soda and water and mix them together to form a paste and put it over the bite area.
First thing I would do is to take some Benedryl. Search the web for an answer.

If it was just one fireant dont worry. It may be painful but not
faital. My Mother had four mounds of them in her front yard
in louisiana. Pouring gas down the mound then setting it
a fire will get rid of the mound.
Benadril, or another anti-histamine.
Rub the site with ammonia. This will neutralize the sting chemicals and reduce the itch.
Fire ants inflict a fiery sting, which causes a small blister or pustule to form at the site of each sting after several hours. The blisters become itchy while healing and are prone to infection if broken.
Treatment of fire ant bite:
Apply a cold compress to relieve the swelling and pain.
Gently wash the affected area with soap and water and leave the blister intact.
People who are allergic to insect stings should seek medical attention immediately. On rare occasions, fire ant stings can cause severe acute allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)
But if it is spreading fast you may be allergic so need a doctor
to treat the bite
go in your bathroom and wash it gently
with soap and water
then get some alcohol and rub the bites
with a cotton swab this gets all the venom off of your foot
now take a cold wash cloh or some ice and keep it on your
foot for awhile it keeps your foot from itching
after a few hours the place where you got bit is going
to create a blister leave it alone and try not to itch it
or to pop it when this happens you stand a great chance
of getting an infection..
good luck and hope you feel better =]
