Help! My ear peircing is infected!?

Question:
I got my tragus peirced a couple of weeks ago. (The tragus is little "flap" of cartlige that is basically on the side of your face.) There is a bubble like ball above the peircing. How do I get rid of it!? Is there any way for me to help it heal or fix it at home without going to a doctor??

Answers:
That is not an infection. Most of the people on YouQA.com don't know anything about piercing, so don't take our word for it!
NEVER put rubbing alocohol on your piercing.
Go to a professional piercer for help or look at a legitimite piercing website with people that KNOW what they're talking about.

TELL you a little secret.MY gf lost a part of her ear because of that. Go to the DR.
Get some alcohol and put some on it. There's some ear alcohol at Claire's and my ears haven't been infected.
make sure you use copious amounts of the ear cleanser they gave you when they pierced it. dip the earring in it and thread it back through the hole to make sure the antibacterial gets inside the hole. it will almost certainly burn, but if you do this twice a week, you should be able to clear it out of there.
Dear, I think you need to go to a doctor.
Use sea salt soaks. Also go back to your piercer and ask what they think.
NEVER USE ALCHOHOL FOR ANY TYPE OF PEIRCING!!!
use dial soap,(liquid), you need a small ammount of bacteira for healing to begin,,, if you kill all the bacteria,, it will never heal, and it will always hurt.
when i had an infected ear lobe i used peroxide and neosporin and it cleared up within days but try anything that works for you
