What is best home remedy for bee sting?

Question:

Answers:
Meat tenderizer will break down the proteins that are the venom. Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) is what I use.
baking soda always worked for me i usually will put a bandaid after wards and elevate it
My friend got stung a few weeks ago and we called the pharmacist for advice. He said to make sure the stinger is out, then put hot compresses on it to draw out the venom. Take benadryl(liquid works faster). Use a topical benadryl to help with itching, etc. If you're allergic, you should seek medical attention. It can be dangerous for someone who's allergic.
honey...yes it is ironic
Believe it or not, after removing the stinger, place wet tobacco on the wound.
the last two guys are right, tobacco spit and/or meat tenderizer is the best.
As silly as it sounds, first...remove the stinger, because it can continue to put poison into your system for 20 minutes. Next, make baking soda and water paste, apply to sting. Make sure the person does not start having any allergic reactions to the sting. One sting could kill a person who IS allergic.
my grandma use to use meat tenderorizer and put it on the sting. it always worked.
Now I've never tired it b/c I've not been stung since I heard this at a hospital...but try rubbing asprin on it. Let me know if it works.
tobacco from a cigarette and spit together to make a little ball on top of the sting site will "draw the poison out". it really does work. if you still have the stinger in you NEVER use any type of "squeezing method" to remove the stinger, use a credit card type object to "scrape" the stinger out. Both of these methods word I PROMISE i don't know how many times i have had to do them to myself and many others.
