Question:
I don't know what happen. I was laying in bed and felt a slight pain in my grion area while laying on my chest. When I got up and pressed on the spot it was very painful. I iced it and took some pain medication. The next day, the pain wasn't as bad, but the pain was still there when I touched the right grion area. Today, the pain again was still there but not as bad as before when I press on the area. However, on this day when I pressed I felt a bump or a knot. Before I felt that knot, I thought maybe I pulled my groin, but now I'm thinking its a hernia. Can anyone help with this question? Any information you provide will be most helpful. Thank you.

Hernias can become very serious if untreated. The only treatment is surgury to repair it. If you suspect it's a hernia, make a doctor's appointment asap. There are no home remedies for it and they will not heal on their own.
I would go to the doctor.
Go to a doctor. That way you can be properly diagnosed, with real medication.
Go ahead and get to the doc. You need that checked out asap
Everything that you say surely does sound like . Does it feel like pulling i anyway and when you stretch does it hurt?
(oh nm) I am Female-lol and I was in 8th grade when I had an umbilical hernia- and you know I have lived the last 20 yrs in chronic pain, but to be honest, that damn umbilical hernia was the worst pain of my life! As I am sure you have heard - Go to the dr and that would be my advice too... and it is IMPERATIVE that you do that or it can become strangulated and you will have the worst pain of your life...
Surgery is a piece of cake compared to "living with a hernia"
