Answers:
It could be your caffeine intake. I drink green tea because it relax me but sometimes the caffeine can make me stay up for a while. Try going a week without the tea and see if that works. If not you might want to try some Tylenol PM JUST to get your body back on schedule. You don't want to take them for weeks at a time, not that they are harmful but it's not good to pump your liver full of pills
Its the tea. Try drinking hot mik & honey before bed. Its an old home remedy that we still use in our family. And it never fails!
its those naps that keeps you up at night ,caffine will do it to,try to stay wake til bed time then go to bed and maybe you can get on schedule
My instinct is to advise seeking professional help. Sleep disorder is not incurable nor unknown.
If not, then why not try simply not going to bed at "bedtime"? - Just go with the flow, and let your brain and body tell you when you're tired enough to want to sleep. Read books, watch TV, do hobbies (not active ones like martial arts!!) until you feel tired.
Try taking benadryl 1or 2 hours before bed, This is what my doctor told me . It is the main ingredient in over the counter sleeping aids with out the pain killer.
YES, it could very well be the tea! But there is a whole list of other foods and food ingredients (natural and artificial) that could be to blame for your insomnia. Tea seems to affect me worse than does coffee. Right now I am off work for vacation, but when I'm working, I try not to drink any caffeine drinks after 5 p.m. (caffeinated soft drinks I don't consume later than 3p.m.) I try to be asleep by midnight. You are probably even more sensitive to caffeine than I am, but as I said, I have really bad problems sleeping due to caffeine from tea.
I did a series of detailed articles in my blog on all this last February. I'd recommend you read them. Lots of things cause sleeplessness: MSG, soy solids (because they are treated with msg), sodium phosphates, disodium EDTA, calcium disodium EDTA, TBHQ, BHA, BHT, vitamin and mineral supplements close to bedtime, high vitamin content fruit juices and cereals before bedtime. My rule is in the evening hours to eat only natural foods (foods that are very basic) with no artificial ingredients added, especially meat with sodium phosphates added (almost all cuts of "fresh" meat anymore are treated with sodium phosphates, because meat is rarely cut by meat-cutters in the stores nowadays. See my blog entries for Feb. 3, 4, and 7, 2006.
i think its the caffine. could be stress and tension. Why dont do try unwinding by meditating or chanting?
“my officemate have bought three memory foam mattress top, I guess that was enough convincing for me and got to try it for myself…I decided to buy one on the net and the price is not too expensive and the selection is massively confusing…finally decided on one and got my memory foam mattress top in just three days, how fast is that…quickly tested it and at that moment I really loved it, except for the smell and just let it sit there for about six hours for the smell to be gone, which is great timing because it was about time for my rest…the only thing I remember is how calming and beautiful my morning was, no memory of sleeping maybe I’m just too busy resting…”
