Why did my eye burn when I took out my contact?
Question:
Answers:
that happens to me all the time. the oxygen in the air is getting to your eyes. it is a good thing that it burned because that meant you needed to take your contacts out. contacts collect so much dirt and protien in your eye. you have to take them out daily, your eyes need healthy oxygen.
that is so bad...that means that your eyes are dehydrated...put the lubricant first before you take it out it helps a lot...
make sure to wash your hands every time you take out your contacts...that will help from getting anything in the eye while your taking the contacts out
wow, thank god it only burned. me i get teary eyes lots of time.
the thing is that you have worn the lense for too long.
the eyes need to "breath" ,thats why, opticians recomend wearing contacts for a certain hour in a day (or night)
Oh this happens to me a quite a bit. Nothing to worry about. It could have been because your contact was dry, and putting your hand near your eyeball irritated it. Or, your contact was really moist and the contrast irritated it. Just put some eyedrops and/or solution in your eye (when it doesn't have the contact in it) and keep your eye closed.
It might even be something in the air. Move to a different room if it happens again.
