Excedrin..by the way Extra Strength and Excedrin Migraine are exactly the same. Its just a marketing ploy.
one of the best i've tried is gatorade...try it too, if it still didn't work for you...try advil.

I've had luck with Imitrex and Frova. Whereas Imitrex has side effects such as sleepiness and a slight shaking of your hands, Frova has none.

I was recently prescribe Medrin for my migraines. It seems to work well for me. Excedrin migraine also worked for me for a while. Do you know what is causing the migraines? I was getting migraines almost daily when I had really long hair. It was the weight of my hair causing them. (per 2 different dr's) Since I cut my hair, I've only had maybe 3 migraines. I hope you find a solution because they're awful!

I take a beta blocker to prevent them, but occasionally one gets through. I have used codeine (so-so), vicodin (okay), darvocet (pretty effective), toradol (pretty effective), imitrex (may have worked but gave up waiting and got a darvocet), zomig (didn't do a damn thing) and I currently have had great success with Maxalt.
If one were so inclined and desperate enough, LSD and psilocybin (magic mushrooms) are very effective ... or so I've heard.
Ayurvedic tablet Shirashooladri Vajra Ras 1-1-1 for ten daqys will give your relief. Indian MUlberry fruit juice works very well. I got my 35 year old migraine cured with this.
