I pierced ear with needle. What now?
Question:
So right now the hole is really small, so I havent taken the needle out. If I take it out, it'll close up and I didn't pierce my ear at home just to have it close up on me. I've just been wiggling the needle around to try and make the hole bigger.
Can you tell me way sto speed the healing process and keep it clean? Or any random suggestions that you might have would be appreciated.

i have 7 piercings in my ears.. and i use needle to pierce my ears.. try to wipe it with alcohol using a cotton and try to put petroleum jelly after you wipe it with alcohol.. petroleum jelly helps wounds to heal faster and dries the wound.. and when you sleep, don't let your ears touch the pillows.. so as not to let your ears swell.. just try not to touch your piercing from time to time.. i agree with other suggestions too.. try to take anti-biotics.. this would help in the healing process of your piercings.. try baby oil too.. hope this helps!
ohh thats bad keep a stud in it if it starts to get infected go striaght to the doctor. symtoms for infected.

Take the needle out! Clean it out with alcohol, and put a stud in it, it will hurt, yes, but not as much as an infection.
Make sure you twist the stud around several times, and continue to clean out the hole.

Then you'll be stripping by 17.
you are brave...if you take the needle out it will surely close up..i hope you have a hypoallergenic earring with you cause its the best thing that will replace the needle..clean it with betadine then put an antibiotic ointment..that will keep it from infection and don't try to pull the needle in and out cause it will not make the hole bigger it will only irritate the skin..good luck.
IN the olden days. people who pierced their ears with a needle also put thread through the hole. They would then knot either side of the thread and see saw on the thread a couple times per hour so that the hole would heal open instead of closing up. Now that I have said this...A lot of people went deaf or died from infection doing it this way. Take the needle out of your ear!!! Do not put anything into that hole! Let it heal. Use a antibiotic ointment and alcohol wipes 3 times per day for 2 weeks!!
Go to a registered nurse or dermatologist to get peirced. If you think that is odd, then go to the mall and get pierced. They have clean sterile, surgical equipment and training. They also have a better vantage point to see what they are doing...The hole will be the right size, you will be educated how how to care for your piercings, etc. What would you have done if your hand slipped, you freaked out in pain and ripped your earlobe out?
I am sorry for sounding so freaky.But I work in an hospital right now and I have seen first hand what at home peircings can do.
