Normally knee pain is caused due to the wear and tear of the joints. Knee joint is called as the patella. It contains a fluid called the synovial fluid and bursae, a fat pad. As time goes by, there is decrease in the synovial fluid and cushioning of the fat pad. This is the common cause of knee pain.
