My boyfriend just moved into a new apartment. He has never had any heartburn problems but recently when he drinks something late at night, he gets a weird feeling like heartburn. All of his drinks contain ice. Any ideas what could be causing this weird feeling? Thanks

Drinking ice cold is not good for the stomach. It causes it to constrict and have Pain just like someone who has arthritis experiences when they're in the cold.
have him not drink anything cold only room temperature or hot several hours before bedtime. This should eliminate the problem
