If you have a pulled muscle does stretching it do good or not?

Question:
ive always stretched strained muscles i was wondering if i was doing something wrong?

Answers:
Absolutely! Stretching out a pulled muscle as much as possible is great because your keeping it moving. The worst thing to do it sit still and do nothing about it. Like for instance when you wake up in the morning your pulled muscles hurt more because you have not been excersising them. Keep stretching the pulled muscle. Also taking a hot bath or going in a hottub loosens your muscles up and that really helps too.
see a doctor
I just pulled the muscles in my back. I know it can very painful..If you pulled the muscles in the legs or back, it be like letting go of a rubber-band. The muscles don't go back to the same shape as before. once its stretched, it take time for it to heal. You might want to to go a chiropractor, maybe it might help. It did for me. If you keep stretching it, will never get well. Hope things stretch in the right direction for you.
Stretching it and working it out is the only way to rehabilitate it. You need to allow it to heal first, but once it has you will probably find that it isn't as limber as it once was. The main thing to realize though is that you have to stretch it slowly and not overstretch it. Stretch it to its stopping point and not further. It will limber with time, but overstretching it can cause more damage.
