My right eye has been twitching for the last 2 weeks now, it only stops when im sleeping...whats wrong?

Question:
I know it has to do with a nerve but is it something serious after 2 weeks??

Answers:
A magnesium deficiency often causes twitching and spasms.
Occasionally, your eyelid may twitch at random. This involuntary twitching of your eyelid muscle typically lasts less than a minute. But it can be annoying.

The cause of eye twitch isn't known. But it may be associated with fatigue, stress or caffeine. You may be able to relieve eye twitch by gently massaging the affected eyelid. To do this, move your index finger back and forth from the inner to the outer part of the lid for approximately one minute. Use the same amount of pressure that you use on a computer keyboard. Massage may be more effective if you first use a warm, wet compress on the eyelid for 10 minutes.

An eye twitch is usually harmless. Rarely, a twitching eyelid can be a symptom of a muscle or nerve disorder. But in such cases, eyelid twitching is usually accompanied by other symptoms.
Colloidal Minerals will stop the eye twitch.
Eye twitch is a sign of a Mineral deficiency
This means you're over-stressed. Have a lot on your mind lately?

Try to chill, read a book, drink less caffeine. When this starts happening to me, I know it's time to look at what's going on in my life and lighten the load.
i had the same thing happen to me... and it wasn't just a "i can feel a twitch, but can't see it" kind of thing. . .. my eye was literally twitching.

it's more annoying than it is actually a medical concern. it could be stress, or a lack of potassium.

no lies, eat a banana, take some time and relax, and you should be fine.

best of luck :)
