Is it okay if I got shampoo in my eyes?

Question:
Pleaze dont make fun of this question. I get really nervous about poisoning myself somehow. I rinsed it out, but one eye still hurts. what shuld I do?

Answers:
It is okay if you got shampoo in your eyes. wash them with water, or an eye drop solution.

With time, they will heal from the itchy redness, but for now it is okay to close that eye most of the time. By keeping it closed, it will cause tears to lubricate it to relieve the pain.

Dogs have their own shampoo because people shampoo will cause them to scratch themselves due to the ichyness.

So, you see? It is a good sensible question after all!
rinse it out. if you have some regular eye drops put a little in your eye.
maybe that will help
It depends how much you got in your eye. But shampoo in your eye can't be poisonoous so just keep on rinsing and you will bbe just fine!
yeah, don't worry about it. your eye may burn for a little bit. but it's not harmful if you get shampoo accidently in your eye.
don't worry, it'll hurt for a while...looooooooooooooong while...just wait, you wont poison youself with getting shampoo, conditioner, soap, or anything like that in ur hair
try to read the back label

rinse it out as best you can

but if it gets too bad, call poison control or go to hospital
I am pretty sure the only danger is having your eye hurt. It still hurts is because it's irratated from the shampoo not poisoned.
What I do when I get shampoo in my eyes is to continue rinsing my eyes (in your situation, the one eye) with a continuous flow of fresh tap water.
It will eventually wash out.
Just be persistent.
