There is no such thing as at-home training of a soldier. Part of becoming a soldier is learning how to think and act as part of a unit.

Be aware that as a reservist, you ARE still subject to being called up for overseas duty, and that duty may wind up being in dangerous situations such as natural disasters or even into a war zone like Iraq.
