Drastic Ear Pain!?
Question:
Answers:
Does it hurt to move the ear? Like if you tug on the lobe? If so, you have "swimmer's ear" (and no, you don't need to go swimming to get it). If that is the case go to the doctor and get some medicated ear drops and in the future keep a little bottle of half vinigar half rubbing alcohol, and put drops in your ears after swimming or showers. If that doesn't cause pain you probably just have an inner ear infection. Either way, a doctor visit and antibiotics would probably be in your best interest!
To minimize pain:
1. Take something for it. Tylenol or Advil or something
2. Lay on a heating pad or a hot towel or something. (I don't honestly know how it helps, but ear infections were a regular thing when I was growing up and mom would always put a heating pad on my pillow.
Hang in there! =)
heat up some olive oil
but not to hot warm
then do 3drops in ur ear..
thats what my sister use to do and it decreases the pain..
Go to your local drug store or your local Wal Mart and pick up a bottle of Simulsin Ear Ache Relief Drops. Note: this will ease the pain but will not cure the infection. To get rid of the infection, you will need to see a doctor who may put you on antibiotics.
