Honey, u alrdy visited docs. They must have given diagnosis after examining and doing investigs, how can it be better to get opinion from here!
It may be some kind of arthritis. Juvenile type may be. If you have no other problem to form a syndrome, it will be OK soon by a short treatment.
Good luck!
could be arthiritis if you got refered to a specialist. it could also be patello femoral syndrome...this happens when the knee joint goes slightly out of wack and you end up with an inflamed joint...generally while having had growthspurts a person was doing intensive excersice...in my case i was doing tae kwon do which caused the cartelidge to wear down. now when it flares up occasionally when i've walked too too long or used the stairs too often. my knees swell up making walking painful and depending on how the knee cap fell off the groove (check how knee joints work and you'll understand what i mean... http://www.arthroscopy.com/sp05001.htm... )
i get clicking sounds too.cant hurt to check it out. good luck! and take care of the knees! along with the elbows they are the first joints to deteriorate!
My opinion is Doctor is useless comes to this type of diagnosis.
I am a health practitioner.
I had client she was suffering from lower back pain and leg pain.
She couldn't walk without pain, couldn't bent hip.
Eventually Doctor told her what she need is back operation.
Guess what, after one treatment, she could walk without pain.
And she could put shoes on without difficulty!!
I can not say anything with your condition without feeling your knee, myself.
But why don't you try to go to see Osteopath or Physio?
They may help you.
If you are going to see a Massage therapist be careful with them.
There are so many different type of massage therapist now days.
Some are good (knows muscle and anatomy), But majority of them are crap.
It is sad to say this but, it is so true.
So ask around people if they know any good manual therapist.
By the way when people think bone clicking, it is not really bone clicking most of time.
When your muscle or tendon get too tight, they go very hard and tendon and tendon can rubbing to each other making clicking sounds.
Good Luck.
