See a doctor. And no, it's not normal for most people.
You may have fibromyalgia. Or there could be a pinched nerve problem. Please go see a doctor, hopefully you will
get some answers.
No, it is not normal.
My neck/back/shoulders did that many years ago.
With me it was an old accident and tension, every day it was mega pain that was usually accompanied by headaches. Not nice and a lot of missed time from work. Enter new boyfriend (now hubby) who paid for a massage that changed everything.
Complained to my doctor who finally ordered neck/shoulder x-rays which I then took to a chiropractor - I wasn't yet 'sold' on getting my bones popped. He took the time to point out where the problem was, then explained how he would try to fix it.
In the end, I had massages for about 2 years with intermittent chiropractic work to straighten the vertebrae - payed for most of this by myself, just gave up on doing other things.
Living mostly pain free & happy for going on five years now!
