Answers:
Depends on where your "private" area is. If you are talking seeing blood with a bowel movement, and it is fresh and red, then most likely it is not a big issue. That's assuming you aren't bleeding continuously. It's not uncommon for a bowel movement to scratch or iritate the inner colon and get a little blood, but it should stop and go away after a couple of days. If the stool has an almost dark/black kind of look to it, that could be dried blood indicating a problem farther up, like an ulcer in the stomach, and should be checked out. You can also have hemeroids or potentially worse fissures, a little blood with them is not uncommon. Hemeroids can also be internal to the rectom and las a week or so. If there is blood in your urine or you are dripping blood from there, it can indicate irritation of the urethra, not usually a big issue and should go away after a couple days. It could also be an infection in the bladder or kidney or several related issues that should be checked out. Without having more specifics, most likely it is not a big concern. If it stays around more than a few days or you are having abdominal pain with it, then you should have it checked out with a doctor.

Go to see a doctor. Seeing blood always makes me freak out even when I was little and a tooth fell out. This isn't freaking YOU out?
Start by using words like penis, vagina and anus. It's a human body and there's nothing shameful about it. Rule out any recent trauma that might have occured in the area such as sexual activity, rough horseplay, etc. Consider the onset of the bleeding (how long ago it started,) the amount of blood and any associated discomfort. If you can't attribute the bleeding to any common cause, see your doctor. Your physical health can be fragile when neglected. Prevention and early detection can be critical in some illnesses. If you don't have health insurance, there are clinics where treatment is available.
