Any suggestions for stiff legs?

Question:
My legs are very stiff and I can only shuffle when I walk, everything I do including walking is a huge effort. The doctors and specialists have no answer to why I have the problem. They all think its my hips but my hips seem ok and are not stiff or sore. I wear myself out trying to get around and do things.
I am living on pain killers and sometimes the pain and stiffness keeps me awake during the night.
I am on warfarin so therefore cannot take anything to help my legs. one specialist suggested an injection, but said its not a good idea as I would bleed internally. I cant take herbs or use creams due to being on warfarin. I spend a lot of time resting and everytime I try to do anything i get so worn out with pain that I need to rest and sleep. to do a normal five min walk takes me 3 quarters of an hour I take a few steps then have to sit down because of pain and stiffness. Hot water bottles exersise and heat /cold packs are no better either.

Answers:
Request an MRI from your doctors to rule out MS. I had the same problem and it turned out to be Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Good Luck
