Delivery for what? A solution for what kind of pain, emotional, physical? Did you take a pain medication..it depends on what kind you took and it could take anywhere from a half hour to and hour or more.
If you mean a baby EVERY ONE IS DIFFERENT. Some women take and hour some take 5, 10, 20 and even longer. The longer it takes the more the doc may want to do a c section. For pain, there is pain meds or/and and epidural that makes everything from your waist down numb, you still feel pressure but the pain is minimal (that's what I had & I would NEVER have another baby with out one!) Some say that underwater births (in a big tub) ease's the pain, massaging her back, sitting on the big BIG exercise ball while your having contractions helps ALOT! If that's what you mean good luck! You forget all about the pain once you see that baby.
It sounds like you mean childbirth? It varies for all women, and even varies in different pregnancies for the same woman. depending on where you deliver there are different ways to deal with the pain. in a hospital you can get epidural anesthesia or IV narcotics. If you want an unmedicated birth, changing positions and moving around alot can help (lying down in the hospital bed is usually the worst way to do it, though thats what most women are forced to do), taking a bath or shower, sitting on an exersize ball, having someone rub your back, hot or cold cloths, and relaxation techniques. Id suggest learning to meditate before hand, it will help you focus and keep your mind where it needs to be. Good luck
