Bruise that won't go away?

it's very light and hardly noticable but it still bothers me.
what could it be? and also i have no idea where the bruise came from.
Answers:
It's very common to get a small bruise on your arms and legs and have no idea where it came from... it could have happend in your sleep, you could have lightly bumped into something and thought nothing of, or maybe somebody bumped into you casually. You said it's been there about a month... has it been slowly getting lighter and smaller, or has it been about the same the entire month?
If it's a bruise that really is not vanishing and is really bothering you see your doctor for some bloodwork and stuff.
If it's been slowly getting lighter in color and smaller in size give it a little bit longer.
Hope this helps. :-)
If you have just that one there is no need to worry about where it came from. If it was a large bruise it would take awhile to fade. As long as it is fading do not worry about it.
A real bruise will go away in about 10 days and go through its blue/green/yellow transition as it fades away. Are you sure it's not a skin discoloration from sun exposure? Is there any pain associated with it? Are you taking any blood thinners like asperin/ibuprofen/cumadin? It doesn't hurt to check it out, go see a doctor if you are worried about it. Most likely it is not a big concern.
There is a bruise remover on the market that works. I had a scratch on my face and it removed it.
Im not a salesman or a marketer or whatever the fvck, Im just speaking on experience, but it's this stuff called MEDERMA. It costs like 9 dollars. Get it.
lingering bruise is not common and can be caused by several serious problems i do not want to panic you but you should see a doctor not going by what we think, be brave and see the man you may be glad. take care of yourself
If it doesn't hurt, I don't think there's anything to worry about. I have some on my shins that don't hurt and are light in color that won't go away because I've banged my shins so many times. It's probably some stuck pigment. Besides, most bruises take about 2-4 weeks to heal. If you're really worried, get it checked out by a doctor.
