Thank you card...?

Question:
I intend to write the following in my Thank You card for my doctor. Does it sound cheesy? Should I change any part?

"Hi Dr _

Just want to say thanks for curing my ankles. After 6 months of agony, they are finally feeling better. (minus the side effects, mouths ulcers) Thanks for listening to my calls and answering my queries. You're a great doc. =)

Love, Lynn.
