Answers:
I have had sleep paralysis a few times, it is a kind of night terror. I have had it in a variety of ways, sometimes I actually think I am awake but can't move or speak but infact I am still asleep and then wake up in a panic thinking I am paralysed! The other time it felt like rushing back in to body (a bit like when you have that falling feeling)then woke up with a big jolt. It may be to do with blood pressure or just one of them things. Night terrors can be scary when they happen but you will never be perm paralysed by it.
Wow - that sounds scary. Have you spoken to a doctor about it? I guess you must have to be giving it a name!
Does it wake you up or are you completely oblivious to it all?
you can have epileptic fits in your sleep - however when ive had them, ive got up to go toilet and had a fit...i would go to your doctor, its very unlikely it could be epilepsy - but its best to rule it out..it could just be night terrors or sleep paralysis
