Falling Asleep?
Question:
Answers:
There are some things you can do which may seem strange.
1) Do not stay in bed tossing and turning longer then 30 minutes. Get up and do something outside of the bedroom. Read a book, look through sale adds, write letters, anything to keep your self from stressing about "not sleeping" and then when you do notice that you are feeling drowsy go back to bed-ignore the clock (knowing how late it is will stress you again).
2) Plan for yourself a calming relaxing bedtime routine to have a consistency (especially time wise) for more favorable sleeping mindset.
3) If your daily routine lacks physical exercise try fitting that in too-such as a walk after dinner-a weekly exercise class.
4) Do not exercise just before bedtime though.
work out during the day and it kind of makes tired you have to lay down later.
omgosh! i know how u feel!
i thought i was alone!! bol(burst out laughing)

*listen to soft music (flute music is good)
*think about your favorite place, with your eyes closed and try to pretend your there.
*buy a mini waterfall, and put it in your bedoom.(the sounds sooth peoples minds)
b4 u go to bed take a hot bath with soft music
Honestly, a cup of hot milk works wonders for me - I guess there is something to trytophan..
Give yourself permission to get less sleep for awhile- you don't need to be stressing about it -that will just make it worse.
Really, though, try the milk thing- what have you got to loose?
Best wishes, hope it stops soon..
