What do they call muscle cramp/ muscle pull in french?

Question:
this happen to my girl friend all the time and i want to explain better to the DR when we go to the hospital becos its a serious case, she being a woman, pregnant and not too atlectic.she complains of muscle pull on both legs.

Answers:
If she's closer to her due date she might just be straining from the extra weight she has to carry around all day which is normal. I don't know what they call it in french, but the doctors should be able to get the point, they're supposed to be well-educated and all...
THEY SAY "MERDE, I PULLED A MUSCLE"
La Peench.
OUi, when a woman is pregnant it is not unusual to have leg cramps often. they are muscle spasms of charleie hourse cramps as we call them over in the good old usa. Next time she gets one, have her stay off her feet. lay down and hold her toes straight up in the air perpendicular to her liegs. that will give instanct relief. Also, a nice message every evening on those tired legs will do you both some good.
Un "point" dans le ventre (stomach cramp)
Une "crampe" (in the leg, for example)
Tirez une muscle (to pull a muscle)
