How can i fall asleep easliy?

im having trouble sleeping and its like 3am here...
any suggestions?

Answers:
1) Don't take afternoon nap for too long.
2)Don't exercise 2 hours before you go to bed.
3)Listen to soothing songs instead of loud booming rock
songs.
4)Read a book it helps.
5)Drink warm mik.
6)Get a light massage.
7)Relax and shut your mind thinking about absolutly nothing.

There is a hormone that comes in pill form (not addictive or anything) called melatonin. taken when one wants to fall asleep it helps a lot.

for right this minute --could you take a bath? maybe with candles so your body isn't stimulated awake by light. . .

I have a good friend named stormi and the pro looks like her too e,e it's almost three here too e,e...okay, well in order to get a good night sleep (which is what I should have been doing! is take a sleeping pill, but if you wanna get to sleep fast turn on the air conditioner to desired temp, (it's always good to have a little noise in the background, otherwise it's awkward for sleeping) make sure the room is dark and cosy, and think of everything that you did today, eventually you will feel so comfortable and your troubles will stack on top you'll get tired of thinking about it and dream away =D hope this helps!
i agree with the first, masturbation. Orgasm releases compounds that actually make you sleepy activates the parasympathetic nervous system which will slow you down. Leaned it in psychology, can't remember the name of the chemical released though.

A regular workout schedule works best for me though, or get a full body massage from a good friend, or me, hehe.
I like to read in peace and quiet for a few minutes. If you have it, spray some lavendar on your pillow, turn out the light and breathe deep. Take a deep breath and let it out slowly. concentrate on that and the scent of the lavendar will take you away.
Ok heres how i do it. I have the exact same problem. Lay down on your back and start with deep relaxing breaths. You can do a full body stretch too before you lay down. Try to relax your body from your toes to your head. Start thinking about a favorite place a place you can go to where you can relax all by yourself(make sure your eyes are closed). Try to forget all the things that are stressing you out or causing you anxiety. Music might help it might not. Rubbing the back of your neck at the base of your shoulders may also help.
By clearing your head... find your utopia (your ideal place to stay in) like a meadow with blossom trees and a crystal clear lake or an island of your own and crystal clear waters, the sound of waves rolling in, the breeze gently touching your face. Then, eventually, you'll fall asleep.
