See a Doctor. There is no quick answer. It could be anything from side effects from medicine you are currently taking to stress to something you are eating to something serious.
If it was one or two days I could list dozens of pain killers or tell you to ask your pharmacist for a suggestion. But two weeks and dizziness involved, please see a doctor. Even something serious like high blood pressure could be brought under control easily with a few pills. But if you wait to long the consequences could be more severe.
Even if everyone on YA was a Doctor, no one would be able to prescribe the correct pain killer for you without asking you for more detailed information first. Go for the best remedy not the quickest.
you may want to have it checked out there may be something wrong
Sounds like a migrain go to the doctors or even sleep and stay in dark places no computer screens tv nothing best time to sleep.
Migraine headaches..
avoid coffee
red wine
oranges
chocolate
beer
alcohol
reduce stress..relaxation..peace n quite
Go to the hospital, they give a shot in one shoulder for pain and one in the other for nausea.
take a cold cloth and lay it on your forehead and neck, it'll run any type of fever that you have down, as for the headache, sounds like a migraine, i suffered from them for 4 months from a severe concussion, lay in a pitch black room, now sounds nothing, and just sleep take some meds if needed hope that helps
It could be a case of hypertension, eye sight or migrane. Go to your doctor, let him / her check you and decide what to do.
omg that happens to me all the time and then when I stand up and get blank outs and loose vision, loose balance and fall I hate it and I dont know how to stop it =[
Go and get a test 4 high blood pressure it could either be 2 low or 2 high. In the meantime watch your diet you probaly eat 2 much take out which is 2 salty ,spicy and fried.
I really think you should see a doctor. A headache shouldn't last 2 weeks. It could be a sign of something serious.
Get away from the computer and go see the doctor.
2 weeks
SEE A DOCTOR! It could be a serious thing ...or just headaches. Treat it b4 its too severe.
Take some Excedrin Migraine. It works fast and wonders.

Try sitting in a quiet dark room and relaxing.

Chew on a pencil to help get the tension from out of your head and into your jaw. (An old at-home-remedy that sometimes works).

Most of all: See your doctor. You could have high blood presure and that is what is making you have headaches and feel dizzy. You could have something seriously wrong with you and it is always best to get checked by a doctor than to ask some Joe Shmoe from YouQA.com !
call your doctor! It may not be serious, but the dizziness and extended headache are serious enough to get medical attention.
Eat a Ginger or drink one glass full of ginger juice- and take medicine prescribed by doctor or medical hall owner
I know how you feel. i just took panamax (migraine tablets) and lay down in a dark room, with a icepack or a pack of frozen veges (anything like that ) where the headache is sometimes could be band migraines which tighten around the head. Look they been going on for two weeks i suggest that you see your doctor. There's some thing else you can try, soak your feet in ice water and put the ice pack where your headache is, does work, all the best.
you might have an inner ear infection and its throwing off your equalibrium causing you too feel dizzy kinda like vertigo...as for the migranes i suggest:

1. extra strength tylenol,
2. excedrin tension headache
3. aleve extra strength (i recommend you take this first)
4. advil

take regular dosages but not all at the same time, only one brand at a time...

if that doesnt help do go see a doctor...and see if you can get a prescription for imatrex (its a little pill that doctors prescribe to target reoccuring migranes) you should try to ask to see if you can get free samples of imatrex.

remember try the over the counter drugs first then the prescriptioned drugs.and get you ears looked at too

i hope you feel better
I will help you out and no i don't need you to help me out.
Being a yoga therapist i definitely won't recommend any
pills. Peel two pearls of garlic add one pinch of salt
and mash these two and consume it along with your meals
and you could get rid of your headache. If there is still time
for your meals and you want something urgent now then
do yogic mudra which goes by the name of GYAAN
MUDRA. This is done with both the hands by touching
the tip of forefinger with that of the thumb of respective
hands. Keep other three fingers straight with palms
facing upward. Now keep both the hands on your
respective thighs and just watch tv without touching the
remote and in 10 minutes time you should recover.
Good luck.
hmmm if it doesnt stop within the next couple hours after taking some meds, go to the hospital and get a cat scan.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.
