Testicle Problem?

Question:
I have what look like red spots on my testicles and occasionally they bleed. Also, I have two dark, what look like vericose (sp?) veins on them as well. Does anyone know what this is? They bleed for no apparent reason, but it doesn't happen often.

Answers:
You might be describing angiokeratoma but only a doctor can tell you for sure. None of us can see what you are describing nor do we have access to your medical history.

As for angiokeratomas, they are surface lesions that are vascular and totally harmless. It is best to leave them alone. Being vascular, they will bleed easily. If their appearance is really bothersome or they are irritated enough to bleed consistently, they can be removed via:
excision (surgery)
cryotherapy (freezing)
laser therapy
electrocautery (burning)

Please make an appointment with your doctor or a urologist to get a definitive diagnosis.
