My arm aches badly and is pretty stiff any ideas?

Question:
Hi my whole arm aches right down to my wrist and kills when i move it etc.any ideas what it could be? Ive taken ibuprofen but its not shifted it

Answers:
its probably just the way you were lying on it. providing you have pain no where else it will ease. you can take paracetamol in between your ibuprofen if the pain is bad. take 2 of each alternatively every 2 hours.
See a doctor he won't bite and may do you some good
My Wrist hurts.
You're fine, it just sounds like you tore a muscle. It'll clear up in about a week.
You probably just tore a muscle, my arms are really weak and when ever i do something that involves using my arm muscles I usually end up tearing a muscle.. Hurt my arm last night trying to hold my body up using my arms only lol pretty stupid. But what i do to help get rid of the pain is to try and move your hand up and down then rest it.. and i usually after 3 or so minutes forget about the pain
Sometimes we sleep awkwardly and twist our arms in posititions that strains the muscles, this
is what happened to me, I am not saying this is what happened to you, just one of those things that might have caused the injury, hope you soon get better.
Try N,H,S,,direct,,,0845,,4647,,,,... will advise,,,Good Luck,,,
Heat heat and more heat. Soak your arm in a hot bath or epsom salt. You are past the ice packs now. Slowly moving your shoulder and wrist while soaking.

Good Luck!
you never described the pain if its a pins and neadles sort of pain it could be nerve related if its just aches its more than likely to be musles or tendons.
i had a brachial plexus injury in my right hand witch is the network of nerves that serves the arm however im am shure that its nothing to do with neves as if it was the pain you describe would be described in more detail
