Pain in chest?
Question:
Answers:
It could be heart burn, ulcer or really bad indigestion. Take some Mylanta and follow it with a glass of milk and take some deep breaths. Or try some gaviscon or Tums. Try to avoid acidic and overly spicy foods and drink plenty of water. If the pain continues, see your Dr. You may need to get some prescription medication like Tagamet or the like.
Don't lay down flat, try and elevate yourself slightly so as to stop any acid(if it is acid reflux) from creeping back into the oesophagus from the stomach.
Hope this helps and you get better soon.
Have a great day/night!

Well, it sounds like you've got an acid problem. Have you tried taking Prilosec?
Possible acid reflux, you should see your doctor and get it checked. If left unchecked, it can burn your esophagus and damage it permanently. Lay off any spicey foods. Go for bland foods and see if that helps in the meantime. But do see a doctor.
Sounds like you may have heartburn. Does the pain occur after you eat a meal or have a soda? If so, then it could definately be heartburn which is triggered by dairy products, caffeine, chocolate, fatty foods, foods high in salt, alcohol, and smoking.
Prilosec OTC is very effective and available without a prescription. If it's happening only occassionally, pick up Maalox Multi Symptom liquid.
