Should I go and see a doctor... could this be serious?
Question:
I'm a minor and I do not think that my mother will take me to the doctor. What do I do? Do I need parental permission? Can I just lie about my age? I'm almost 18 anyway,

If you live in the U.S. then you can just go to the emergency room at the hospital. They cannot refuse to treat anyone. Tell them the situation and tell them you are scared. First I would tell your mom that you are going to do this to see if maybe it "wakes" her up. This is NOT normal ... you must go and have your head checked. It may likely end up OK ... but you must go and be sure. Is there anyone else in your family that can talk to your mom and take you to a dr.? Talk to someone you trust ... or go to your school nurse if you're in school. Maybe she can call your mom and suggest she take you to a dr. Perhaps then she'll take it seriously. Please find a way to get this checked. Better to be safe than sorry.
Yes, you definitely need to see a doctor to make sure that you haven't had a bleed in your brain. I don't know where you live but here in Australia you don't need parental permission to see a doctor. Doctors have a duty of care to make sure you are ok, if you present for treatment. Please try to see a doctor.
Hey u must have developed anything serious in your brain .
So its my prime advice ,just go and get treated by a good doctor.
Best of luck
Go to the ER. If they need permission to treat u tell them your mother was not listening to what happened to u so u came there anyways. If they need to they can call her. U could have a serious concussion or something. U need to get checked out right away. I think your mom would feel terrible if u died because she would not get u to the hospital. Just get to the ER with or without her. Now.
