I had carpal tunnel release surgery yesterday and I felt everything. Has this happened to anyone else?

Question:
I was under sedation, not general anesthesia, and I felt the incisions, something pulling under my skin and I tried to say something but I couldn't talk. The memory is horrible. How do I forget about it. I have nightmares, Any ideas?

Answers:
I've heard from quite a few people about unsuccessful carpal tunnel surgeries. I would suggest having hand reflexology or massage to help reduce some of the trauma to your body when its healed enough. I also have print outs of easy exercises that may help, if interested please email me through my profile.
You poor thing! My heart goes out to you. My father had it done and he is still in pain and miserable. I would go back to your regular doctor and explain to them your issue. Maybe they have something to help you out
