Your mother needs to be evaluated by a physical therapist, occupational therapist, and a speech therapist in order to see if she has rehab potential. Strokes, especially on the right side, can have devastating effects. The speech center of the brain has been damaged. Imagine how frustrating that has to be for her. Ask her attending physician to right a prescription for rehab services or, better yet, place her in a rehabilitation facility. If she stays in bed with no trained personnel to see to her needs, she could easily develop bed sores, her right shoulder, elbow and hand could contract from spasticity...and more.

Not exactly sure what your question is, because of the broken English... I am assuming your mom had a stroke, which is a damaging event in the brain. It's caused by a lack of blood flow to an area of the brain, and the cells die. Often the person will lose muscular control of one side of the body. Depending on the severity of the injury, there unfortunately may not be any effective reversible treatment. Sadly, there remains the possibility that your mother may indeed be confined to bed and unable to speak for quite some time, if not permanently. Sometimes, however, through intense therapy, there can be some improvement in the symptoms caused by the stroke. Examples of the therapy include "speech therapy", "physical therapy" to train and strengthen muscles, and "occupational therapy" to help people relearn how to eat, dress, and do basic daily tasks.

sujit, I think you mean...stroke, or CVA. You will need a Doctor or nurse to explain it to you, depending on how ill your Mom is, you may be able to find ways she can communicate with you. It is hard work to rebuild those speech paths in the brain, but some progress can be made. Talk with some-one who does that as their specialty. The re-hab and nursing staff at most Rest-homes are well trained in this. Blessings
Well, I know just what you mean.
My mother had a stroke 9 years ago and it caused right side weakness and very bad speech impediment.
She was sent to a stroke rehabilitation at a big hospital and they taught her a lot of stuff.
They had speech therapy, physical therapy (got her walking with a cane). Occupational therapy (taught her how to do simple things like holding silverware, putting her clothes off and on, writing, all with her left hand, etc.)
People who have this problem need intensive therapy for about 5 or 6 weeks. So they can learn to do for themselves.
The speech is the hardest thing to get back.
She needs to go to a place where they can give her the therapy she needs.
After my mom had a stroke and had the therapy she came to live with me and my family for 6 weeks until she felt ready to go back home. She did pretty good for a while but when she tried to cook she had a lot of trouble and would forget she had something on cooking so I would go over there and it would be all burnt. Then I would just to over there and fix her food or take her some I had made at home. I needed help though so called in a home health care agency and had someone come over to take my place a few times a week. I had 2 small children to take care of at home. When they got old enough they would go over to grandmas and help her for me.
She had a walker to help her motivate.
We took her shopping every week and to her clubs. They really need to get out with others or they will withdraw.
Some people are so severe that they can't be taught much in therapy or they refuse to do it and have to be in a nursing home.
A lot of their prognosis of getting self sufficient is in what they personally want to do and you have to keep pushing, keep a sense of humor, ask for help, and take one day at a time.
And pray a lot.
