Sunburn.?
Question:
Answers:
When I get a bad sunburn (which is often) I mix equal parts of cool water and milk in a bowl, dampen a cloth with the liquid and put the cloth on my burn. The milk works to help heal the burn faster, as well as bring down the stinging feeling; milk in general is good for your skin.
Although make sure you do it late at night or early in the morning so you'll have a chance to have a shower before the next time you leave the house...because the milk can end up smelling kinda sour lol...but it's worth it hehe
vinger on a wash cloth will take the sting away
lots and lots of cold natural yoghurt. gently apply it to your skin but dont rub it in. just let it sit on your skin for an hour or so while you are relaxing or sleeping. a bit messy but effective.
You're doing everything right. The advil and cold compress should take away the swelling and some of the pain. The aloe will also help with pain and can reduce the severity of the burn aftereffects. Drink plenty of water to replenish the fluid you lost in the sun today.
In addition to hydrating yourself, use Noxzema, this cools your skin and helps prevent it from drying out and peeling ('cuz that grosses ppl out, lol). Use the original formula stuff, not the stuff with the scrubbing beads because that will just make it more painful. With this, you don't have to worry as much as far as sticking to your sheets as with the aloe.
vinegar takes the burn out and lotion will help it heel
