How can i make post-workout soreness go away :)?

Question:
we did some conditioning yesterday and im in pretty good shape but im still really sore lol my *** hurts like noo other. not even kiddin. do any of you have good tips for making it less sore? (i know that stretching helps.. lol but i dont know any stretches for my butt :)

Answers:
As others said, for prevention, do warm up and cool down stretches with your workouts.

Overworking a muscle, which causes multiple-day soreness, usually bulks up that muscle. (Do you want a big butt?) Work into a new regimen slowly, over a few days. For toning, do many reps with small resistance instead of few reps with large resistance.

Multiple-day soreness is usually the worst in the 24-48 hour period. It should taper off after that.

To feel better now, sit on a table or padded bench with your butt hanging a little over the edge, with your legs straight (or nearly) bend to your knees and wrap your arms around them. Have you boyfriend *carefully* rub the gluts vertically. Do not overdo it and keep him "on task"

Hope this helps.
Sit on an ice pad or bag of frozen peas. And congrats for getting a burn in the butt. The results will be worth it.
Stretch before and after working out!
Eat a banana. The potassium will help your muscles.
take a warm bath...if your gym has a sauna or steam room use that as well..heat will ease the soreness.
make sure that instead of just working out and then stopping u stretch a little afterwards and just kinda slowly stopping
