I think it's what is called swimmers ear. It's always good to put a few drops of alcohol in your ears after swimming. Glad you're going to the doctor. You need to know what to do to prevent it in the future. Alcohol drops will usually do it or they may have something else on the market now. When I was at camp, they always used alcohol drops when we finished swimming.
Sounds like either swimmers ear or an ear infection.
sounds like you have a sinus infection. that is usually how it starts...someinthing at the camp must of triggered it...hope you feel better hun. the docs don't give anitboitics anymore theyusually tellyou to let it run its course but if the infectionin your ear is bad they will..sudafed, benedryl good for sinus...hope you make out with the dr alright.
You might have swimmers ear infection and you will need to go to the Dr. or a sinus infection and the drainage leak in your ear.

It sounds like you have an ear infection. It hurts when you open your mouth because of the pressure on your ear from the infection.
WOW that's bad!! i heard that on the news! they said its call a swimmers ear!! probably wen you went in the pool water went in there and didn't come out! and if you dont treat it well it can get fungus in there and if its too bad they might have to take it out with a machine. and if its not they will just give you some ear drops and you'll be fine. they will tell you to always wear ear plugs wen swimming!! if i was right let me know ( just email me: colombianmgt_15@yahoo.com) cause i think i might have the same thing :( !! good luck!!
