Pain on top of my feet?

Question:
When I'm sitting they start to feel really heavy and turn a purplish color. It hurts on the top of my feet, behind the toes. It's really painful,do you know what could be causing this? Thank you

Answers:
Sounds like poor circulation. I'd definitely see your doctor. Feet shouldn't be turning purple unless you're Veruca Salt. ;)

I don't know anything about your age or weight, but poor circulation in the feet could be a sign of diabetes, which is a serious, but very manageable disease. Don't put it off. See a doc this week.

Edit: Saw your age/weight. Probably not diabetes, then. Still should have it checked out, though. Could have something to do with your kidneys, also.
I'm not sure what could be causing it, but I suggest that you see a doctor because it does not sound normal. I think that it's possible that it could be nerve or poor circulation related. I would suggest seeing a doctor.
Check out Raynaud's syndrome.
